He did run very well, King Johns Castle - for a minute I thought I would be down on my luck.

Still, a well run race!!

Its one of the few races a year that gets the pulse racing if you have one bang there with 3 top jump

Only to feel let down when they don't bring the Winning rosette home
Can't think of any other race that gives me more of a crack .

Couldn't agree more - my pulse was definitely quickened in the final furlong!
