Bits and bobs, general announcements etc

Hi guys,
First, i should like to wish you all a very Happy, Healthy and Peaceful Christmas,:santa: :rendeer: and wish all a Prosperous and Healthy New Year, together with my thanks for all your comments and posts which have moved my hobby on.
I hope that i can contribute to making this a profitable forum to be a member of.
In addition to my SAAW methods
It is my intention to start to long term topics in the New Year, one of which is to be a
Maria-type acca lay staking plan which as you all know starts with very small stakes and is based on a £1k or £3k bank start. i should like to run this for a full year and see how much money i can accumulate (or lose).
It maybe a pipedream but ever since I read Maria's thread I have wanted to give this a go
The other new thread will be a favourite backing method which i have been following for awhile
It is remarkably simple and has (emphasis on HAS) been quite profitable too.
so good luck to all in their endeavours for 2008
